Legal information:

Data privacy

Personal data (e.g. name, address, email address) are collected only when provided voluntarily by the user, e.g. in the course of contacting us or registering.

Personal data disclosed by the user shall be used solely for correspondence with the user and only for the purpose for which the data are furnished by the user. Such information shall be passed on only insofar as this is necessary in handling inquiries or orders.

We warrant that the user’s personal data will not otherwise be passed on to third parties, except where we are legally obliged to forward such data or where the user has consented to such data being passed on. Where service providers are commissioned to carry out and handle processing operations, the appurtenant contracts shall be drawn up in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

The user may require personal data which has been submitted to us to be erased at any time. This right to require erasure shall not include data for invoicing and accounting purposes.

Personal data furnished to us via this website shall be stored by our company only until the purpose for which it was furnished is fulfilled. Where preservation periods apply under commercial and/or fiscal law, certain data may be stored for up to ten years.

In order to make visiting our pages a more attractive experience and to enable certain functions, we use so-called “cookies” on our pages. These are small text files which are stored on your internet-capable device. Some of these cookies are erased again when you close your browser (so-called “session cookies”). Others remain on the device and enable the user’s browser to be recognized the next time our website is called up (so-called “persistent cookies”).

Users can generally set their browser such that they are informed when cookies are set and are able in each instance to decide whether they wish to accept the use of cookies or to exclude the use of cookies in certain cases or in general. The functionality of our internet offering may be restricted if the use of cookies is rejected, however.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Furthermore you can prevent Google’s collection and use of data (cookies and IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB.
Further information concerning the terms and conditions of use and data privacy can be found at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/gb.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/en_uk/policies/. Please note that on this website, Google Analytics code is supplemented by “anonymizeIp” to ensure an anonymized collection of IP addresses (so called IP-masking).
